What He Sent by Mistake Changed Their Lives Forever
Emma was halfway through her evening coffee when her phone buzzed.
A message from Daniel.
Her heart skipped.
They had worked together for nearly two years, exchanging countless emails and polite conversations, but nothing more. At least, that’s what she thought.
The text read:
“I can’t stop thinking about her. Every time she smiles, my entire day changes.”
Emma stared at the screen.
A few seconds later, another message arrived.
“Oh no. That wasn’t meant for you.”
Her cheeks warmed instantly.
She typed back slowly.
“Who was it meant for?”
Several minutes passed before Daniel replied.
“Honestly?”
“Yes.”
“You.”
Emma read the message three times.
The office flirtation she had dismissed as friendliness suddenly made sense. The lingering glances. The way he always remembered the smallest details about her life.
That accidental text opened a door neither of them had dared to touch.
Over the next few weeks, coffee breaks became dinner dates. Dinner dates became long walks beneath city lights. Long walks became conversations that lasted until sunrise.
One evening, standing on a rooftop overlooking the sparkling skyline, Daniel took her hand.
“You know,” he said with a nervous smile, “if I hadn’t sent that message by mistake, I probably never would have told you.”
Emma laughed softly.
“Then it was the best mistake you’ve ever made.”
He pulled her closer as the night breeze danced around them.
And beneath a sky full of stars, what started as an accidental text became the beginning of the greatest love story either of them had ever known. ❤️
